Captia Energy

How we work

Five steps: a study based on your real data, a proposal signed by an engineer, the installation, complete paperwork and daily monitoring. You pay in stages, as the work moves forward. Never the full amount up front.

The process, step by step

  1. 1

A study based on real data

We look at your roof, its shading and its orientation, and at your actual consumption, not an invented average. From that we work out how much production you can expect and which system makes sense for your home. If none does, we tell you that too.

  2. 2

    An engineering proposal, signed

You receive a proposal signed by an engineer, with the equipment justified, the numbers explained and the cost of each item. No generic quote with a swapped logo. What we sign is what we answer for.

  3. 3

    Installation

Our own team does the installing, not a subcontractor you have never met. Clean work, your roof treated with respect, and the system built exactly as the proposal describes. Before we leave, we get it running and show you what it is doing.

  4. 4

    The paperwork, complete

The council, the regional government (GVA), the distribution company and the certificates for your tax return. We commit to filing everything and following it up to the end. How long each body takes to resolve is up to them, and nobody serious will promise you otherwise.

  5. 5

    Monitoring

We do not finish when we get paid. Every day we check that your roof is producing what it should. If something drifts or maintenance is due, we contact you before you notice it on your bill.

You can see the results in the installations we have already completed.

Two levels of guarantee

Some guarantees come from the manufacturer and some come from us. Almost any installer can offer the manufacturer's. Ours, they cannot.

The manufacturer's

These are standard across the sector: around 25 years of panel performance warranty and about 10 years on the inverter. They vary by brand. Your proposal lists the ones for your specific equipment, in writing, with the make and model in front of you.

Ours

  • A study signed by an engineer

The proposal you receive carries the signature of a qualified engineer. If something does not add up, there is a named person responsible.

  • Filing and follow-up, committed

We commit to filing all the paperwork and chasing it until it is resolved. We keep you posted on where each procedure stands.

  • Monitoring included

Daily monitoring of your production is included. It is not an extra you pay for separately and then forget about.

Who is behind this

Behind Captia Energy is Captia Technology, an engineering firm that monitors industrial plants. Reading the data from an installation is what we do every day. Your roof gets the same treatment: the same way of watching, the same standards.

Studies and proposals are signed by qualified, professionally registered engineers. With a name and with responsibility. How that daily monitoring works is explained on the monitoring page.

How you pay

In stages. You pay one part when you accept the proposal, another when the installation is finished, and the rest once the paperwork has been filed. We will never ask you for the full amount up front. If anyone does, be wary: that money is your only leverage if something goes wrong.

We are not a quote-comparison site

On quote-comparison portals you fill in a form and your phone number is sold on to several installers you have never heard of. Here you speak directly with the people who will be up on your roof. The company that studies your home, installs the system and answers for it afterwards is one and the same. Your details are never resold.

Start with the study

Tell us about your home and what you use. We come back with a study based on real data and a proposal signed by an engineer.
